Beer fetes? That's what we call the beer tasting events we organise every three months, dedicated to bringing the best of local and national boutique beers and ciders to Nelson for the enjoyment of the 'grognoscenti'. At this month's event:

Epic: Pale Ale & Armageddon Ale, Founders Organic: Tall Blonde and Long Black, Invercargill: Smokin Bishop, Boysenbeery and Alpine Honey Beer, White Cliffs Organic: Mikes Mild and Mountain Lager, Green Man Organic: Keller and Strong, Hallertau: Manuka Saison Belgian Ale, Luxe Kolsch Bier and Deception, Tasman: Pilsner and Black Mocha, Mussel Inn: Captain Cooker and Bitter Ass Bitter, Moa: Original Pils and Marzen Octoberfest, Townshend Real Ales: ESB and No 9 stout, Twisted Hop Real Ales: Challenger Bitter or Redneck.
