Participants from all over the world will compete in the multi-sport event which will stamp itself on the calendar during September every year.

In 2008 up to 30 sports will be on the programme with team sports including netball, touch football, soccer, basketball and hockey to individual sports ranging from swimming, athletics, tennis and cycling.

No qualifying standards or times are required to enter the New Zealand Games.

The only criteria is that participants wish to participant in a competitive yet social manner.

Open to all age groups. Friday night sports 6.00pm - 9.00pm with entertainment from 7.00pm, Saturday entertainment from 7.00pm till late!
