dDub are proud to release the second single from their new Album ‘Medicine Man’. This latest dDub offering received another round of four and five star reviews, spent three weeks on the NZ top 40 Charts and debuted at number 2 on the Independent charts and number 4 on the NZ iTunes Album charts.

“Their live show is phenomenal, their vibe uplifting and their sound infectious and easily accessible Winter? dDub are the best warming medicine, man. Get yourself a dose.” - The Press, 5 Stars, Vicky Anderson

Titled ‘Making My Way Home’, the upbeat tune follows the success of the single ‘Hesitate No’ which featured on JuiceTV, C4, Alt TV, and spent nine weeks on the Kiwi FM Top 10. dDub are presenting the video through TV music channels on August 20th. The ’Making my way home’ video is a visual extravaganza produced by Auckland production house ‘Fish and Clips’ and features outstanding creative direction by Leah Morgan, the genius behind the dDub moth brand.

Just back from huge gigs at the Queenstown and Nelson Winter Festivals, dDub are about to launch the re-package of their Medicine Man album with bonus DVD. In traditional dDub fashion they will tour Nationally sharing the blistering live shows dDub are renowned for.

“Performing as part of the annual Winter Festival, dDubs irresistibly upbeat rhythms captivated the audience. During their two hour-long set, vocalist/guitarist Derek Browne and his charismatic instrumentalists gave an uplifting concert that had all the precise musicianship of their recorded works and twice the emotion. Truly dDub is a band best enjoyed live, having proven one of the country’s most accomplished acts time and time again at festivals such as Rhythm and Vines and Womad.” - Elle Hunt, July 21 2008

    Hi Vicky and Janine,

Congrats! You've both won tickets to see dDub play in Dunedin. How easy was that?

When I've been busy studying ALL day at the uni library, for my exams (arrghh!) and I'm tired and grumpy, and it's raining outside, all I want to do is go home and be hugged and loved by my wonderful boyfriend :)

On a Sunday I love to go to town and have some time to myself while my partner looks after our 2 year old disabled daughter...but by lunchtime I just want to come home and listen to all 'Dad's' stories about what they've been up to for the morning, and hear the delight he's taking in new things she's done this week.
