The New Zealand Breakers host the Melbourne Tigers in this game of the Australian National Basketball League (NBL) competition.
The Hummer NBL is is Australia’s professional basketball competition. 10 teams compete in the league, representing Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Cairns, Townsville, Gold Coast, Wollongong and New Zealand.
Teams play each other both at home and away in a round robin series, with the top teams progressing on to the finals. The Melbourne Tigers are the defending champions.
The New Zealand Breakers will be hoping to improve on a good 2007/08 season where they reached the quarter finals.
