Location: The Lawn at Woollaston Estates, or Cellars if wet.

Cilla McQueen, a major NZ poet who has published ten poetry collections, will read from her poetry at Woollaston Estates on Labour Day.

Her themes of homeland and loss, colonisation and displacement, reflect her engagement with history and the present reality of the Maori people of Murihiku.

Local poet Panni Palasti will open the reading, and introduce Cilla.
