A celebration of Dutch culture and heritage, this colorful, festival is set amidst the Hamilton Gardens and features traditional Dutch food, art and craft stalls, as well as performances of cultural groups (choirs, folk dancers, drama groups) from all over NZ.
The Festival's motto is "The Next Generation" with a major focus on families.
With something for everyone, the marquee on the Rhododendron Lawn will have games for the children, the Pavilion is host to an art exhibition, the "Dutch Hui" (forum) as well as performances of cultural groups who also perform outdoors.
