The sixth annual national womens art exhibition and competition is on at the later date of 1 -31 October, and is to be held at the new location of the historical Poverty Bay Club, in Gisborne.
Regarded as the largest "women only" art event in NZ the exhibition attracts women artists from throughout the country, and while this is a competition as well as an exhibition, there is the option of entering artwork purely to sell.
There are four prize categories of paint, mixed medium, sculpture, and Maori Art Awards as well as a Supreme Art Award and The Peoples Choice.
