Australian band TiMBAH has just announced their New Zealand tour.

The band renowned for their live performances in Australia, this October/November will see TiMBAH hit our shores for the first time.

Expect big things from this popular Australian band as once their tour kicks off in Auckland, fresh on our stages and ready to impress we are sure they will blow you away with their spectacular six-piece shows.

Formed four years ago, TiMBAH have been touring relentlessly appearing at premier Australian venues and festivals. Coming from more of a folk rock background, which presently captures aspects of many genres, including blues, roots and jazz, it’s hard to describe without first hand experience of their live show. Very often reviewed to be “Australia’s answer to the Dave Matthews Band”, and like their North American spiritual siblings, TiMBAH win over crowds where ever they go, whose appeal crosses generational and genre divides.

To say this group is musically tight and awe inspiring is an understatement.

Lead by the intricate guitar work of Nye Stewart and backed by the crowd pleasing, bongo bashing brother Abe, you are sure to connect with every band member while they jam on anything from fiddle to banjo, harp, double bass, keyboards and mandolin.
