The East End comedy that splashed into the West End record books, Steaming is being performed at the Harlequin Theatre in Howick, Auckland.
A strictly 'for grown-ups' comedy set in the Turkish Rooms of a run-down public baths run by Violet where five very different women regularly meet to bathe, relax and commiserate over the troubles that all female flesh is heir to.
When their sanctuary is threatened with closure they discover – to their surprise and our delight – that they have the strength to fight the Town Hall and you'll cheer on their efforts to be beat bureaucracy!
