After the unfortunate postponement of their August NZ date, Liberation Music are delighted to announce that Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson will perform one show only in Auckland on October 29.
Riding high on the success of their ARIA and U.S Americana Chart #1’s and ARIA ‘Album Of The Year’ and ‘Best Country Album’ nominations for album collaboration Rattlin’ Bones (out now through Liberation), Kasey and Shane’s Kings Arms concert will include new songs from this gorgeous album, as well as past hits from Kasey’s impressive multi-platinum back catalogue.
Joining Kasey and Shane on stage will be her father, country music master, Bill Chambers, and special support act The Sami Sisters.
Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson have just hit the infamous Conan O'Brien show joined onstage by Kasey's father Bill and a band including a banjo and an upright bass, as their newest 'Rattlin' Bones' hits American stores. Newly released in the U.S on Sugar Hill, the first album collaboration for the acclaimed, married Aussie couple has received a chorus of early praise in the States and abroad.
Those fortunate enough to have seen Kasey and Shane perform together in the past will be able to attest to the powerful rapport between the couple. Likewise as a solo performer Kasey shines as always with her impressive vocals and delivery. With a plethora of old and new hits to choose from, this concert will have something for everyone.
Tickets on sale Monday 22 September 2008 from Ticketmaster and Real Groovy.
