Back after a hugely successful second year, the third annual Dove Pink Star Walk will take place on Saturday 11 October 2008 beneath a starlit Auckland sky and promises to be bigger, better and pinker than ever before.
In aid of The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation (NZBCF) men, women and children of all ages are welcome to participate in the 5km walk. Start time is 8.00pm amongst the scenic Auckland Domain, which be illuminated in pink for the occasion.
Proceeds from the walk will help to fund research for prevention and cure, whilst acknowledging the 2,500 women diagnosed and the 600 women who die of breast cancer each year in New Zealand.
