The annual WPS exhibition is a chance for the public to once a year, come and see the interesting and innovative work of a group of keen and enthusiastic local photographers. The exhibition showcases members’ best work and this year it is great to be able to present the exhibition in such a central and prestigious venue. This year’s selector was Bruce Girdwood.

- WPS has a long and esteemed history. Established in 1892.
- The digital era has changed the way we do things
- The Society is moving with the times – digital audio visual presentations, digital competitions, IMPACT monthly newsletter goes out electronically, showcasing guest speakers and work done by innovative and experimental members, and members exhibiting and showing their work
- National and regional interclub affiliation through PSNZ and active involvement in competitions – more recently - 1st place Wanganui Cup for Interclub Digital Competition, 2nd place Chance Interclub Landscape Competition
