13 km and 5km fun run with a difference!
This fun run/walk will be in its second year with over 400 participants enjoying the unique and scenic course in the inaugural event last year.
The course goes from Huia Beach (Southern Waitakere Ranges) to the Upper Huia Dam and back. Along a small gravel road through the bush, past the Lower Huia Dam, through a tunnel, over the top of a dam, and over a swing bridge. The marority of the course is gravel or bush tracks.
All funds raised go to the local Laingholm Primary School - the school that serves the the area we runs so many events in.
This is a Lactic Turkey event you can bring the whole family to - we'll be doing a 10 minute course for the wee kids too!
