The Magic of Christmas

Tis’ the season for ‘The Magic of Christmas’ with Hawera Repertory Society.

You'll hear your favourite Christmas songs interpreted by our cast of singers from the nostalgic strains of ‘O Little Town of Bethlehem’ to the seasonal sounds of Boney M and Band Aid. We'll have you humming along with your favourite hymns and tapping your feet to a rockin' holiday beat including a version of ‘Jingle Bells’ that you'll have to hear to believe.

Directors Richard Kennedy-Moffat and Samantha Turner have scripted what promises to be another great show, that previous audience goers have come to rely on. Newcomers to the venue will be surprised to walk in the ‘Winter Wonderland’ and will agree that ‘It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year’.

Christmas wouldn’t be half as much fun without the obligatory ‘Sing-along’ and this show promises some true Yuletide favourites this season to ensure the ‘Magic of Christmas’ is served in abundance at the Memorial Theatre.
