In a 19th century final concert, opera rubs shoulders with tone poems from Bavaria. Verdi’s heroine in La Forze del Destino, forced to choose between her father and lover, suffers a tragic fate, foreshadowed in the dramatic overture by the use of the destiny theme. Richard Strauss’ Don Juan and Till Eulenspiegel in turn graphically portray well known rakishness and a prankster’s merry exploits. To complement the Verdi, the bass-baritone arias are in keeping with the drama of this programme.

Puccini Edgar "Questo amor, vergogna mia"
Bizet Carmen - #14 Toreador Song
Richard Strauss Don Juan Op 20
Richard Strauss Till Eulenspiegels Lustige Streiche Op 28

PIETARI INKINEN Conductor
TEDDY TAHU RHODES Bass-Baritone

I have to be honest here. I'd love to be talented and get rich but then again I wouldn't have courage to spend my money to transform my looks or anything, so money is no use. But probably I'd be surrounded by lots of good friends because normally people are harsh to good looking people than talented one.
BUT! I don't mind being good looking only either! I still can make an effort to gain some skills. But even without skills people can be successful. Imagine being celebrities like super models or Elizabeth Harley, she hasn't done any good movie recently(is she still actress anyway??). But with her beauty, she can make fortune just by being beautiful! Who doesn't want that??

It would have to be talented ...... because being stunningly good looking hasn't got me very far as yet! :-) But seriously, it would have to be talent every time ..... good looks may warm the eyes, but talent has the capacity to warm the soul. As for Teddy Tahu Rhodes .... that man is just greedy!

I think it helps to have both if you want anyone to come and watch and Teddy Tahu Rhodes has both in big spade loads. That gorgeous voice and that face. Aren't we lucky?
