Our lunchtime concert series continues with a pre-Christmas special featuring a new flute and cello duet on the Top Floor of Lopdell House. The programme will include "Syrinx" by Debussy, "Assobio A Jato (The Jet Whistle)" by Villa-Lobos as well as works by Bach and Honegger.

Lorna Wright (flute) and Rosalind Hill (cello) both hold Master of Music degrees from the University of Waitako. Ros has studied from James Tennant and is currently seeking study opportunities in Germany. Lorna's teachers have included Ingrid Culliford and Bridget Douglas and she has recently returned from her OE, which included a years' study at Lueneburg Universitaet in Germany.
