The Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra's own Catherine Bowie takes centre stage to perform Mozart’s Flute Concerto in D, in a programme which also features a musical riot of colour and fantasy.
Conducting the concert is young sensation Lionel Bringuier. He was unanimously awarded the 1st prize at the prestigious Besançon Competition and is already assistant conductor of the Los Angeles Philharmonic at barely 20 years of age.
