The race meeting at Western Springs speedway on 1 November is the opening night for the 2008/09 Speedway season.
This is also the first round of the Western Springs Open Wheel Championship series for Midgets, Sprint Cars and TQs.

Gates open at 5.00pm and racing starts at 6.45pm.
