The Hurricanes Franchise is New Zealand rugby's largest Rebel Sport Super 14 franchise with a catchment area including 920,000 people from the central and lower North Island.
The Hurricanes region is made up of nine member unions. It encompasses the lower half of New Zealand's North Island, from Hicks Bay in the north to Island Bay in the south.
East Coast, Hawke's Bay, Horowhenua-Kapiti, Manawatu, Poverty Bay, Taranaki, Wairarapa Bush, Wanganui, Wellington.
