NOTE: The promoter has just announced the release of a small allocation of tickets to this sold-out show--better act now--this is the final release of tickets for Stereophonics!
Unbelievably it’s been 10 years since this rockin’ trio from Wales last ripped up the stage in New Zealand!
Now the long wait is over as Kelly Jones, Richard Jones and Javier Weyler, otherwise known as Stereophonics, return for TWO very special shows in Auckland.
Since that time, Stereophonics have released their 6th studio album PULL THE PIN featuring “It Means Nothing” and latest single “My Friends”, and kicked of their stellar world tour playing to thousands of avid fans across a UK arena tour – a tour which will culminate with them headlining the UK V Festival in August.
Formed in Wales in 1996, Stereophonics’ sound is as distinctive as Kelly Jones’ wonderfully rustic vocals and his poetic melancholy and elusively introspective lyrics.
Stereophonics have received a raft of international plaudits, #1 albums, singles and in excess of eight million album sales. With a catalogue boasting such greats as “Mr Writer”, “Have a Nice Day”, “Maybe Tomorrow”, “Local Boy In The Photograph” and of course the sensational “Dakota”, Stereophonics have set the soundtrack to many a life.
Returning to New Zealand 10 years after their first visit, don’t miss Stereophonics – live at the Powerstation!
TICKETS ON SALE: MONDAY MARCH 17
