Following sellout performances in the USA, Canada and the UK in 2007, revered comedian Charles Ross makes his NZ debut this festival season in Auckland and Wellington with the smash hit show that delivers 3 epic films at hyperspeed - ONE MAN STAR WARS™ TRILOGY.

Ross, a Star Wars addict, who had seen the trilogy over 400 times by age ten brings to life all of the characters from the iconic trilogy including Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, C3PO, Chewbacca and Darth Vader. Acclaimed for his physicality and the sheer energy of his performance he sings the music, fights the battles, creates the special effects and condenses the plots of all three original films into just one amazing hour without the aid of props or costumes.

“A must see comedy for Star Wars fans young and old” - Amy Hall, BBC

This tremendously talented actor was honoured by Lucasfilm when he was invited to perform at Celebration 3, the official release convention for “Star Wars: Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith”. He’s also been inducted as a Friend of the Canadian division of the 501st Legion, the world’s definitive Imperial Costuming Organisation. Audiences in Auckland and Wellington should not be alarmed if the NZ garrison sees Storm troopers take over the city in honour of this amazing performance.

“A theatrical tour de force” - Telegraph, UK
‘A dazzling physical theatre piece and a laugh-a-minute parody.’ Adelaide Advertiser

Whether you’re a committed Star Wars fan or simply want to enjoy a fast-paced, hilarious evening that’s out of this world - One Man Star Wars is the answer!

My mind trick is simple....teleporting into the future to find out what the winning numbers are next week for LOTTO.

I would play mind tricks...so the bank manager would only see we're borrowing $10.00 to buy a house and not the $400,000 we will need to borrow....AWESOME!!

I would use my mind trick to convince people I am smarter, better looking and more witty then I really am. Adoration by the masses is never a bad thing.

I would use my Jedi mind trick to convince all the women of Earth that Princess Leia's metal bikini is the new benchmark for 'smart casual'. If you could grant me Jedi mind control rather than tickets to the show, I'd much appreciate it. My midi-chlorian count is dropping rapidly as I'm getting long-in-the-tooth. Jedi mind control is with me no more.

I would convince all those around me that my cellphone was a light saber and that I was on a mission from Princess Leia before asking for their assistance. The Mission - find the missing love child of C3PO and Chewbacca (come on you didn't really think that C3PO was straight did you?) - luckily for my earthly companions I will be carrying a photo of the missing child... who looks remarkably like a Furby. I might not achieve anything during this mission but man would my 'assistants' have a hilarious story to tell at the pub over a few drinks!

I would use these crazy raccoon eyes to stare as intently as I could (given the unfortunate state of said eyes), wave my hand deliberately at you and say "this is the organic brained being who will win the tickets to One Man Star Wars" and completely mesmerised by the power of the Jedi-raccoon, you shall respond, "this is the organic brained being who will win the tickets to One Man Star Wars...oh yes, this is the one"...

My best mind trick is telepathically convincing my husband it is his turn to cook........by leaving the takeaway menus lying around...
