A fun run in support of reproductive research is being launched to celebrate Mother’s Day this year.
The 5 or 10km fun run or walk is the brainchild of The Nurture Foundation, a charity raising funds for research into conception and pregnancy problems, and supported by founding partners New Idea and Andrew Simms Mitsubishi.
The event is designed as a fun Mother’s Day activity for the whole family.
The Nurture Foundation is inviting families to pack a picnic, bring the kids and come down to One Tree Hill Domain.
By paying a small registration fee, family members can take part in a 5km or 10km run, or a 5km walk through Cornwall Park.
All participants will be timed, so it’s a great family challenge.
There will also be music, children’s entertainment and spot prizes.

The event kicks off at 8.30am with a 10km run, followed by a 5km walk at 9.00am and a 5km run at 9.30am.
Late registration will be available on the day from 7.00am for an additional $5.
