The Auckland Wushu Festival and Tournament is an annual event which celebrates Chinese Martial Arts – all styles, all ages and all levels – as well as other aspects of the Chinese Culture.
There are Martial Arts demonstrations and Chinese cultural performances.
The Tournament includes competition in Tai Chi Chuan, Children and Juniors Wushu Kung Fu Taolu (forms / routines), Adults Wushu Kung Fu - Taolu (forms/routines) and Sanshou (free sparring), following the Rules and Regulations of IWUF (International Wushu Federation) and the CWA (Chinese Wushu Association).
Martial Arts weapons and DVDs will be on sale. Admission is free!
