Luke Thompson and Brian Platt's Midsummer Tour 2008 brings together great food, fine wine and exquisite music at venues of distinction throughout the country.

The Midsummer Tour also celebrates the much-anticipated release of Luke Thompson’s acclaimed debut album Here on the Ground. In the words of pre-eminent music reviewer Graham Reid:

“Here on the Ground announces the arrival of a major Kiwi talent”.

Also performing is Brian Platt who brings his own special blend of hangover melodies and endearing on-stage banter. Both Here on the Ground and Brian’s album Eleven Steps will be available at the concerts.
