The Vodafone Warriors are set to deliver another action-packed NRL feast at Mt Smart Stadium.

They’re back on deck at home for the first time this year against Parramatta on Sunday, March 23.

The Vodafone Warriors were last year’s excitement machine on the New Zealand sporting scene, taking fans on a ride never short on thrills.

It was a breakthrough year as the club not only made the play-offs for the first time in four years but also clinched a coveted top four sport.

Twice they played to sell-out crowds at their beloved home ground, turning Mt Smart Stadium into the kind of fortress that was never pleasant for opponents.

In 2008 captain Steve Price and his players are committed to trying to do it all over again.

The squad has been boosted by new buys Brent Tate, Ian Henderson and Ryan Shortland.

And this season fans get a double bang for their bucks with the added attraction of the Vodafone Junior Warriors on show in the curtain-raiser to every home game.

They’re the club’s generation next playing in the new under-20 NYC (National Youth Competition).
