In the autumn of 2008 H.I.M. are set to return to Aucklands Powerstation touring what is being proclaimed as their "heaviest, creepiest, and sexiest" album yet.
H.I.M.'s sixth studio album Venus Doom is the follow up to the platinum selling Dark Light, and demonstrates a significant leap forward for the band and a toughenin-up of their sound. Since the band's first album in 1997, H.I.M have steadily risen to the higher echelons of success worldwide with their gothic-tinged, atmospheric hard rock, self-described as "love metal".
They are the first band from Finland to sell over 500,000 records in the US; have hit the top 20 across Europe, America, Australasia and recently completed a tour with Metallica.
Demand for tickets for H.I.M is certain to be huge, and as a sell-out is expected quickly, fans are advised to get in quickly. It's both an all ages event and R18 upstairs with a bar.
