Approximately 55km in distance the course follows the east coast of the island before crossing over to the west coast and finishing where it begun at Kaitoke School.
With a combination of coastal tracks, mountain trails and outstanding purpose made single tracks this event is not to be missed.
A percentage of the funds raised from the event will go towards a sports fund for local Great Barrier Island children.
We are also running a 25km event on the day called Option 2, taking in the last stage of the larger loop.
The final stage of both these events run through the 'Mountain Bike Park' and offer a fitting end to an epic ride.
