Through music and stories, Horomona and guests celebrate Matariki with you.
Mentored by tohunga (experts) of taonga Puoro (traditional Maori Instruments), Dr Hirini Melbourne and Richard Nunns, Horomona Horo combines natural talent with his drive for excellence while retaining a humility hard to find in many artists of his calibre.
Horomona will share the stories, voices and history of these very unique instruments full and rich in cultural identity.
Included is a night of traditional and contemporary music to bring the true essence of Matariki alive.
