Hayko Siemens – Concert Organist
A 'Toccata' is a display of the organist’s skill and the organ’s power to thrill.
This programme from the European organ tradition includes music by Buxtehude, Bach, Reger, Schumman and Dubois; and celebrates both Hugo Distler and Messaien in their centennial year.
Hayko Siemens performs no fewer than four Toccatas on the striking pipe organ in Auckland Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. Prepare to be well and truly thrilled!
Children under 18 years old are free if accompanying a paying adult.
"Majesty and Grace" Sunday Concert. This public concert is part of the ORGANZ Annual Congress 2008, hosted by the Auckland Organists' Association.
