In October 1998, Matthew Shepard, a twenty-one year old student was severely beaten and left to die – tied to a fence in Laramie, Wyoming, simply because he was gay.
The Laramie Project is a breathtaking theatrical collage, exploring the human capacity to reach great heights of compassion and severe lows of hatred.
A truthful insight into the city of Laramie and the aftermath of this tragedy.
“One of the ten best plays of the year. A pioneering work of theatrical reportage and a powerful stage event.”
