Take the opportunity to view the fascinating collection of paintings, drawings and works on paper in our collection.
Open Home literally opens the doors of the collection stores and brings all the framed works out onto display, giving the public a chance to see around 600 works – as many as we can possibly fit onto the gallery walls.
This exhibition will bring together some of the best known works from the collection along with others which have rarely been shown in a public exhibition.
Major names from the national and international art world sit among obscure and sometimes unidentified artists, and familiar faces and landscapes appear alongside hard edged abstracts and decorative modernist works.
Open Home will unveil some of the secrets and idiosyncrasies of this unique collection, give an insight into the way it has developed and will offer something to suit the tastes and interests of every visitor.
