This contemporary comedy debates the virtues and vices of living in town and country, and explores the deep bond between New Zealanders and their land.

Johnny Dimond thinks he’s got it made when he wins the Bachelor of the Year competition. He returns home in triumph, but when the celebrations fade he finds himself alone and empty. Flailing for direction, Johnny must make some critical decisions; should he sell the family farm? Are ancient relationships worth reviving? And can you really say you’re free when you’ve sold your name for the highest price?
