Life as a transplanted American brings with it daily reminders of just how different life is Downunder.
Not only do we Kiwis have a peculiar fascination with a strange black substance called Marmite, there are many simple words and phrases than can baffle a recent arrival and provide ample material for an evening of hilarity.
American-born but now living in Auckland, award-winning standup comic Dave Wiggins is teaming up with another award-winner - magician Nick Britt - for a night of comedy and magic.
Local lad Britt was born into a magical family and has performed around the country with his father, the magician ElGregoe.
He also has his own stage show, performing as 'Nickleby', and is a regular performer at The Loons. He promises more amazing illusions and the return of Webster the dancing duck.
