Happy Hour concerts provide an excellent introduction to classical music, giving you insight into the workings of a professional symphony orchestra at this free one-hour concert.
Hosted by the APO's Manager of Artistic Planning, Antony Ernst, these concerts provide you with insight into the works being performed in their entirety at the following night's concert. You will then hear selected movements from the programme and have the opportunity to ask the players, guest conductors and guest soloists questions.
These concerts are more relaxed and informal affairs with part of the stalls of the Auckland Town Hall set up cabaret style. Grab some friends, your parents or your kids and come along for an entertaining and enlightening concert experience - that's free!
This Happy Hour concert will preview the Splendour of Beethoven 2 concert.
