Huge bargains for book-lovers with over 70,000 secondhand books, jigsaws, games, DVDs and CDs for sale.

All proceeds to Variety-the Children's Charity to fund their Literacy and Communication Programme- providing computers and books to children and schools in need.

Free admission on Saturday and Sunday with storytelling sessions for children on both days.

Friday 25 July is opening night from 6.00pm - 10.30pm with an entry fee of $10.

Saturday 8.00am - 6.00pm (entry free)
Sunday 8.00am - 4.00pm (entry free)

Venue is the Rutherford Room and Delightful Lady Lounge, Level 2, Alexandra Park Function Centre.

Hi catspyjamas,
I can't see where the ticket price says $50? The event is free on Saturday and Sunday. I am also assuming that you pay $10 for the preview night which is allowing you the privilege of having the first choice of all the books before the masses descend on the book fair on Saturday? I have also updated the map - thanks for the heads up.

There seems to be a number of errors - why dies it say the ticket cost is $50? Why does the map point to the intersection of King George Ave and Gillies when the venue is somewhere else? Do you have to pay $10 on the Friday night just to preview the books without buying them or can you purchase them on the Friday night?
