Tina Cross and Grant Bridger are putting together a night of entertainment to remember, here on Waiheke -- to raise money for, and awareness of the work of Transition Waiheke.
Grant says: We have called it the Ultimate Intimate Concert, because it is literally the best of what we have done separately and together over recent years: from playing opposite each other in the NZ tour of the musical CHICAGO as Roxy Hart and Billy Flynn and also in the tour of BOOGIE NIGHTS.
This time we are are sharing some songs we have written for the first time, plus some delicious jazz standards, theatre songs and the odd classic folk song from the 60s and 70s. Just not as much prancing about the stage -- after all we are both middle aged now!
Our brilliant pianist and Musical Director, Stephen Small, will be playing for the evening. He is such a gifted and versatile accompanist, who joined us for our sell-out guest Gala Concert at the Nelson Winter Music Festival a while ago. Standing ovation no less!
Ticket price includes supper.
