Join Slammistress Renee as some of Auckland’s best performance poets battle it out in front of judges and an audience. Over $400 worth of prizes to be won.
Celebrity judges will score each poet on performance ability, quality of poem and audience response. The final winner will be picked by an audience vote. The Slam features guest performances by The Literatti – six poets in a theatrical display of words, music and images.
Rules:
Three minutess per poem
Poem must be your own
No props, costume or music
Please prepare three poems
Auditions held 12 July from 10.00am at the London Bar.
