Th'Dudes are heading back to their natural environment, back to where it all began 27 years ago at.….the pub.
The band re-formed 15 months ago for Radio Hauraki’s 40th anniversary, when, due to demand, an 11-date tour grew to 17 shows. Now Peter Urlich, Ian Morris, Dave Dobbyn, Les White and Bruce Hambling head for holiday hot-spots nationwide for the ‘Summer of Love’ tour which begins at Mangawhai on Dec 28.
Also on the bill is Christchurch band, Dukes, who relish the thought of "supporting and hangin' with a great, classic NZ band".
The Electric Confectionaires from Auckland, join the bill for New Years Eve only. "We saw their show last year and the atmosphere was amazing so we are blown away that Peter Urlich suggested us for the Waihi show. We are playing another gig that afternoon and are frantically searching out a private plane to get us there on time…after all, this is Th'DUDES" said drummer Rob Fenton.
