The World Buskers Festival is the largest street performance festival in Australasia. Heralded by many as 'one of the best' street performance festivals in the world, the WBF provides Christchurch audiences with 10 days and 11 nights of organized pandemonium, non-stop chaos and uncontrollable laughter - transforming the central city into a hub of fun, frantic and fantastic activity, entertainment and excitement.
With over 450 circus, street and comedy shows, performed by more than 40 national and international artists, the 2008 World Buskers Festival will present audiences with over 400 hours of world-class entertainment, in a series of free to attend events (donations are accepted).
