The Australasian Wrestling Federation is pleased to announce it's inaugural cards outside of Australia, with shows on Friday 22 February in Wellington, and Saturday 23 February in Auckland, New Zealand.

Mr Shanan Gough will be the main AWF point of contact in New Zealand, and will oversee the New Zealand branch of AWF. Shanan commented "We are excited to bring AWF to New Zealand, and are looking to make an impact here in NZ. We plan to run live events on a regular basis in 2008 and beyond, that incorporate the top local and international guest wrestlers."

As part of the first tour entitled "Australasian Pro-Wrestling Summit", wrestlers from Australia, Japan and New Zealand will be represented.

AWF Australasian Champion TNT, AWF Young Lion's Champion Jay Law, Billy Flyswat, Platinum Players; JT Robinson and Kid Dynamite plus Chris Trance will represent Australia. Taku Iwasa of Dragon Gate Pro-Wrestling will represent Japan, and New Zealand will be represented by it's top wrestlers D-Hoya, Jimmy Sparx and many more!
