For this special Don't Look Back performance Sonic Youth will play their 1988 classic 'Daydream Nation' in its entirety.
The album has been hailed as one of the best and most important albums of the 1980s.
It marks Sonic Youth's first attempts at shifting from their unsettling noise-rock roots to a more subtle combination of guitar experimentation and traditional rock, and laying the foundation sound for subsequent bands like Mudhoney and Nirvana.
Don't Look Back is a season that invites artists to present a retrospective of one of their works in its entirety.
All Tomorrows Parties kicked off the first Don't Look Back season in the UK in 2005, with The Stooges performing Funhouse.
