The Brightwater Wine and Food Festival has become an iconic event of the Nelson region's summer season. It features a wonderful choice of local wines, olive products and boutique beers, complemented with selected craft stalls. Top quality food will be provided by some of Nelson's best restaurants and cooking demonstrations will be offered by internationally-recognised chefs.
All this is accompanied by a top class entertainment programme, featuring Pearl, Aly and the Cats, Sideshow Bob and local favourites, Mojo. There is also plenty of children's entertainment. The event offers a wonderful festival atmosphere amidst vineyards in a native bush setting - a great family day out.
