Nathan Haines, New Zealand’s finest Jazz export is returning from London to headline Hawke’s Bay’s biggest annual Jazz event Church Road Jazz. Joining him direct from the U.K., are performer Vanessa Freeman singer, Mike Patto (Reel People) on keyboards plus the cream of local musicians Tama Waipara upfront on vocals, with acclaimed producer, locals Dixon Nacey (guitar), Jnr Turua (bass) and Mickey Ututaonga (drums) with Puerto Rican born percussionist Miguel Fuentes providing authentic Latin sounds and experience from 20 years of touring the US and Europe with the likes of Grover Washington and Patti Labelle. The best of Hawke’s Bay local jazz talent will also be performing. Tickets are available from Ticket Direct and the Church Road Cellar Door.
