The first of the three-monthly Slams at Poetry Live.
Denis Welch is a performance poet visiting from Wellington and well-known journo.
Join him for a half-hour of hair raising performance then stay on to enter or watch the slam.
Bring your three best poems to perform, judges are selected from the audience and influenced by applause so bring all your friends!
Three-minute time limit, costumes permitted, no music. Winner takes half the koha.
