“Has his victims doubled up in agonising laughter . . . ” - The Herald, Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2008

Jimeoin is back in New Zealand after a five night sell out season at The Sky City Theatre in Auckland during comedy madness month of May. With 13 shows lined up throughout Aotearoa beginning 5 November – this tour is starting off with a bang!

Jimeoin is described as everyone’s favourite Irish Australian comedian who sets a wicked self-deprecatory tone with precise detail….His routines are sustained solely by the most subtle of facial expressions as he explains the fine line between looking cunning or appearing sleazy. He extends to some nonchalant physical comedy, tottering around the stage like a chicken crossing a minefield or extolling the virtues of a top – rather than front-loading washing machine.

Certainly the riotous material on unpleasant odours tweak the nostrils, proof that toilet humour is even funnier when you take it into the public domain… Exemplary stand-up comedy honking with his scent of his greatest success to date . . .

“A comic masterpiece” – Daily Mail UK

“Sharp as they come, stand up is rarely so appealing” – London Evening Standard

Sex, or rather what our hormones make us do. Little boys pulling girls hair, teenage boys ignoring the girls they like, teenage girls ignoring the guys they like, men and women using "dutch courage" so that they can speak to who they like. Shouldn't it be easier. Though it wouldn't be as funny if it was:)

The seriousness of newsreaders. I really just want to tickle the hell out of them to try and crack a smile on their concrete faces and emotions!

I can't help but giggle when my 1 year old stops mid play for her daily number two's ritual. The concentration on her beetroot red face just sends me into fits, the nappy change afterwards always brings me back down to earth though!

I really wish I could send you a photo of what cracked me up the other day. Genuine, good clean toilet humour. My brother had altered our mother's toilet to make it safe for her when she comes home from hospital after a stroke. He put horizontal rails on the walls and before he screwed them up, slid on toilet rolls - about 8 on each side. I couldn't stop laughing, it looked so funny, giant toilet roll holders! It has had the same effect on everyone who has seen the toilet. Oh well, she won't run out lf loo paper for a while!

The everyday thing that makes me laugh is watching NZ news and TV. The World section in the Dom is like 2 pages long. Surely more than this is happening. Do we need Golf and Cat stories on the front pages? Golf and cats are fine, but not on the main page.

Teenage boys crack me up with their habit of wearing jeans with the waistline below their butts & the crotch around their knees. They walk in an uncomfortable shuffle stopping to pull their pants up every few steps - pure stupidity over substance! The temptation to down-trous them and casually walk away almost overwhelms me, I mean what are they going to do about it?!?

Hmm maybe this just makes me angry. On a brighter note I do always smile whenI see dogs blissfully hanging out car windows feeling the wind in their face & watching my elderly cat getting feisty with his catnip mouse.

My best giggles are when I catch up with my mates from old varsity days when we used to cause trouble. One of our favourites was when we took all the slide out numbers out of the doors on the motel units and changed them around. We then hid in the bushes and laughed hysterically when people tried to go into the wrong rooms.

My giggle worthy moment is faking wet farting noises in the womens toilets at work when someone enters the cubicle next to me. :)

Have to say that my giggle worthy moment is when I hear my flatmate laugh, it always puts a smile on my dial and sets me off in fits of laughter which generally end in the both of us in stitches on the lounge room floor with the laughter tears rolling.

My everyday giggle-worthy event is listening to all the interesting words my three year old comes out with. Ephelant (elephant), skeleskin (skeleton), pop-porn (popcorn) ... the list is endless. I'm working on getting him to say all the funny words in a full sentence - haven't managed it yet!
