The Cambridge Christmas Festival has been part of Cambridge's Christmas festivities for over 20 years.
The Festival is held in the Cambridge Town Hall every year in December.
This year it runs from 5 - 20 December. The times are: 5 - 13 December, 10.00am - 6.00pm, and 14 - 20 December, 10.00am - 8.30pm.
Every week a large group of ladies meet to make all manner of Christmas gifts, decorations and goodies. The hall is decorated in a different theme each year, this years theme is: 'The Twelve Days of Christmas'.
There is the lovely gift shop, selling all manner of Christmas gifts and decorations, jams, chutneys, and baking. The hall is beautifully decorated to depict this years theme.
The tea rooms sell lovely home made Christmas goodies. Most days there are school and local choirs singing in the morning, afternoon and evening. Other well known choirs that will be singing are the Mighty River Harmony Mens Choir, and the Waikato Rivertones.
All the money raised each year goes to local charities in Cambridge and the Waikato. We try and assist charities that do not receive Government funding. Cambridge is a lovely town to visit and a day can easily be passed attending the Festival and wandering around the very pretty town centre.
