Pip Brown was once a record-obsessed wee thing, absorbing everything her musical parents played her - from Stevie Nicks then Joan Jett to Nirvana and Hole with lashings of Van Halen and Deep Purple for good measure she became a human encyclopaedia of credible pop.
After leaving the land of the long white cloud and spending time in Sydney in and out of various bands, Pip finally settled on the solo venture that is LADYHAWKE.
She has worked with some of the biggest names in music today like Peaches, as well as touring recently in Europe with The Presets, Soulwax and taking to the stage on three separate occasions at Glastonbury.
Her self-titled debut album is to be released in September.
