'Cultural Festival 2008' boasts a breathtaking smorgasboard of multicultural performances, Visual and Wearable Art Exhibition / Pageant plus celebrity MC's Matai Smith (former presenter, TV3's 'Pukana') and local icon Sheree Waitoa from Tahu FM.
Featured in this multicultural extravaganza are traditional and contemporary performances by over 60 of Canterbury's most accomplished Primary and Intermediate Schools and performance groups, representing over 10 cultures.
Concerts run Monday 18 - Thursday 21 August 7.00pm - 9.15pm; also Wednesday 20, Thursday 21 and Friday 22 from 12.30pm - 2.30pm.
Cultural Festival is a unique opportunity to experience a unique, vibrant celebration of the many different cultures in Aotearoa.
