Ascension Wine Estate at Matakana and the Warkworth Music Society presents the Amazon Trio, a quirky NZ string trio live featuring Peter Barber - viola, Robert Ibell - cello, and Victoria Jones - double bass.

The programme will include works by: Rossini, Splerger, Michael Haydn, Beethoven, Goltermann and a CMNZ-commissioned NZ work.

Amazon is a string trio but a fiddle-free zone. The three talented musicians explore a marvelous repertoire for the various combinations of their respective instruments.

All are highly experienced musicians who have studied and played overseas as well as in NZ.
