Over 100 established and emerging New Zealand artists exhibiting painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, garden art and jewellery.
Artists include Dalene Meiring, Peter Collis, Ken Beatson, Con Kiernan, Amber Emm, Hope Gibbons, Jeff Thomson, Otis Frizzell, Mike Weston, Paul Dibble, Fran Dibble, Julienne Francis, Tui Hobson, Madeline Beasley, Kirsty Nixon, Simon Ormerod, James Wright, Donella Yelavich, Sarah Brill, Sue Bridges, Mark Dimock.
The programme features several artists in residence at varying times; Con Kiernan, mosaic artist, and Mike Weston and Otis Frizzell, collaborative prints, all weekend and Friday evening; Karen Kennedy clay artist, demonstrating her amazing water warblers, all day on Saturday; Rachael Foster, painter, from 10.30 am on Saturday; Amber Emm, painter, all day Sunday.
Also featuring Carmel McCormick, Body Artist and Face Painter, Winner of the Supreme Award at the NZ Body Art Awards 2006, 2007 and 2008 on Saturday from 3.00 - 5.00pm. Fantastic face art for All Black fans!
Tickets to the preview, 7.00 - 9.00pm on Friday 1 August, are now available at $30 each.
Entry over the weekend is by gold coin donation.
